Rejuvenating Your Social Skills: Topic Based Webinar

Temperatures are rising along with the numbers of people who are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus -- which means the days of social distancing are drawing to a close as pandemic restrictions are lifted. For most of us, the chance to get out, see our friends, and enjoy the social pastimes and hobbies we used to take for granted is an exciting prospect. But simultaneously, many people are feeling apprehensive or even downright anxious about leaving the protective cocoons in which we’ve been hunkered down -- and feeling our social skills may be embarrassingly rusty or absent. In this webinar, Dr. Alicia Bosley, the program director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Hofstra University, will address how to brush up on your interpersonal savviness, and deal with the conflicting emotions so many of us are experiencing as we re-emerge into the world.
