All activities related to commencement will adhere to public health guidance, which means masks must be worn and physical distance will be maintained throughout the ceremony.

In alignment with New York State guidelines for events, all attendees, including the graduates, will have to fill out a health screening and at the gate show one of the following:

  1. a PCR COVID-19 test (within 72 hours of entry) or rapid antigen COVID-19 test (within 6 hours of entry) with negative results or
  2. proof of a COVID-19 full vaccination or
  3. proof of recovery from COVID-19 in the past ninety days

In order to keep the ceremony as contact-free as possible, many transactions will be done through a new commencement website, which will be distributed in the next few weeks and which will also provide more detailed guidance about all necessary procedures.

In addition, you’ll receive more information about the Senior Class Toast and other commencement activities, which will all be done virtually, via email.
