Parent and Family Book Discussion Group

Parent Council is inviting you to join their Book Discussion Group. For its first meeting, the Book Discussion Group will be reviewing and discussing White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo. The author, a sociologist, “examines the ‘white fragility’ that prevents white Americans from confronting racism” (New Yorker, 2018). The session invites participants from all backgrounds and viewpoints to a safe, judgment-free space where all voices are heard. The discussion will be moderated by Aisha Wilson-Carter, Adjunct Associate Professor of Writing Studies and Composition, Diversity and Inclusion Training License Holder, and Co-Chair of the AAUP Diversity and Inclusion Standing Committee. You may buy the book at AmazonAudible, and other online stores.
