"Ethical Issues in Crisis Lawyering: Representation and Advocacy Challenges" will be addressed in this virtual moderated discussion among ethics and law professors, Bruce Green, Ellen Yaroshefsky and Ray Brescia, and “first responder” lawyers who contributed chapters to the forthcoming book, Crisis Lawyering: Effective Legal Advocacy in Emergency Situations (Brescia, Ray, co-editor; NYU Press 2021).
The ethical challenges presented when resolving crises during the representation of workers, immigrants, domestic violence survivors, and members of the press and media, as described in the book, will be examined.
Registrants are eligible to earn 2 Ethics CLE credits for attendance.
