The State of H.O.P.E. presents America's Health Online: The Emergence and Growth of Virtual Care

Join Hon. Kemp Hannon for the eighth installment of the State of H.O.P.E. (Healthcare Opportunities and Policy Exchange) signature event series at Hofstra University’s School of Health Professions and Human Services. Telehealth has grown considerably in its delivery capabilities and user interface since its early-on inception. For several years leading towards 2020 its resourcefulness was underscored by skepticism from clients, patients, and providers alike. Its true impact has been brought to the mainstream in a direct response to COVID-19 as an avenue for individuals to continue to safely interact with providers.

This panel of experts will discuss the successes and barriers of telehealth, its projected future growth, and policies which will guide its continued presence in the health of us all.
