The Department of Religion presents A Critical Spiritualities Lecture. Join New York Times Washington Bureau Religion and Politics reporter Elizabeth Dias and Dr. Megan Goodwin, Northeastern University scholar of American minority religions, in conversation with Dr. Julie Byrne, Monsignor Thomas Hartman Chair in Catholic Studies and Professor and Chair of the Department of Religion, Hofstra University, as they discuss the QAnon phenomenon in context.
Co-sponsored by the Jewish Studies Program, Hofstra University Honors College, Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Program in Criminology, Department of History, Department of Political Science, Department of Sociology, the Writing Studies Program, and the Hofstra Cultural Center.
