Advancing Health Equity Entrepreneurship Series: Community Engagement Part 1

The Center for Entrepreneurship is presenting a Zoom workshop series called “Advancing Health Equity Entrepreneurship” to support entrepreneurs and community members who are seeking to solve issues related to health equity, with a focus on assisting them with deploying their products and services into the community.  This series will also support understanding the unique and ongoing challenges faced by vulnerable communities, which is integral to an effective recovery from COVID-19 and vaccine distribution.

Faculty and students are welcome to register, and participants will receive a certificate of completion if they complete at least five trainings. Recordings will be made available in the event of scheduling conflicts.

March 10th from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

This session is Community Engagement Part 1: Activating Community Partners: A Conversation. Dr. Martine Hackett, Associate Professor of Health Professions, will lead a conversation with Shanequa Levin, Founder of the Women’s Diversity Network, on engaging communities and addressing the unique healthcare needs of communities of color.

The training series also includes the below session. We will send registration information to anyone who RSVPs.
