Spring 2021 Virtual International Student Orientation
International Student Orientation (ISO) provides important information about the Hofstra campus, immigration regulations, staying healthy and safe, academic requirements and the many campus services available to help you succeed and have a great experience at Hofstra. During your virtual orientation you will have the opportunity to participate in many activities that will prepare you to become a member of the Hofstra community whether you are located within or outside the U.S.
International Student Orientation for students beginning their program in Spring 2021 will take place virtually over three days from Monday, January 25 through Wednesday, January 27, 2021 Detailed information about orientation will be emailed to the Hofstra email address of accepted students whose I-20 or DS-2019 has been issued. It is strongly recommended that all new international students attend virtual ISO.
We encourage you to review our information on how to prepare for your arrival in the U.S. at www.hofstra.edu/prearrival. Please note that international students are allowed to enter the U.S. no more than 30 days before the program start date listed on their I-20. Please make appropriate arrangements for transportation from the airport to campus after you arrive in the U.S. Hofstra's Office of Residence Life will provide information regarding move-in procedures for new international students in January.
Learn more about ISO at www.hofstra.edu/internationalorientation. We look forward to seeing you at orientation and if we can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact us at international{at}hofstra.edu!
