Student-Run Record Label, Unispan Records - Applications Open
Do you aspire to a career in the music industry? Get started now with the Center for Entrepreneurship’s record label, Unispan Records, which offer students real-life experience recording, producing, promoting and distributing music.Unispan Records is a partnership with the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication, the Frank. G. Zarb School of Business and the Department of Music (School of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts, Hofstra College of Liberal Arts & Sciences) and is now accepting applications for the Spring 2021- Fall 2021 semesters. Students from all majors and disciplines are eligible to apply.
Students are mentored by top industry professionals, participating in workshops virtually on Wednesdays from 11:15AM- Noon and some evenings. Students immerse themselves in all aspects of the recording business and perform all duties necessary to commercialize music. This is a program and positions with Unispan Records are volunteer and unpaid, but some students may be eligible to earn academic credit through independent study.
