Toya Hall is the Senior Associate Director of Recruitment at Uncommon Schools, a network of 55 public charter schools across New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Toya is responsible for developing a comprehensive, best-in-class talent strategy to recruit instructional, school-based operations, leadership, and network office staff. Previously, Toya served as a School Manager at BlackFem, where she developed and facilitated wealth and financial literacy education to K-12 students. Prior to her time with BlackFem, Toya taught third and fifth grade for three years at a district public school in Houston, TX, and two years in New York City. Toya earned her M.A. in International Education from New York University and a B.A. in Political Science and African-American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

PARKING NOTICE

Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
