Healthcare Leadership Innovation Program
The Hofstra University Center for Entrepreneurship is offering a unique opportunity to Hofstra University students to build their resume and experience by exploring topics relating to innovation, communication skills, and leadership in healthcare. Students will participate in a series of five Zoom sessions that will help prepare them for healthcare careers. Students who complete all five sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Center for Entrepreneurship. This is a non-credit program open to all students. Sessions and dates (one hour each, 30 min of interactive Q and A). Zoom and speaker information will be sent upon registration. Students can watch recorded sessions in the event of a conflict.
Students only have to register once and then will receive zoom information for all sessions

• Empathy for patients and peers - Sept. 18, 1 pm
• Entrepreneurship in healthcare - Sept 22, 7 pm
• How to apply for a residency program during the COVID-19 era - Sept. 25, 1 pm
• Health Equity and Community Health - Sept 29, 7 pm
• Share with your peers your ideas for "new innovations in healthcare"
This program is being implemented in collaboration with Elnaz Sarabchian, Doctor of Education student in Teaching, Learning, and Technology Department at Hofstra University. For over 10 years, Elnaz had been a pioneer in education innovation. As an entrepreneur, CEO, board member, consultant, mentor, and educator, she has worked to advance innovation in the field. Elnaz is the founder of MedAux, and a previous winner of the Healthcare Entrepreneurship Community Challenge and Hofstra-Digital Remedy Venture Challenge.
