The Pandemic and the Global Medical Supply Chain

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought to the surface vulnerabilities in the global supply chain that can impact the quality and availability of essential medicines, in the U.S. and around the world. This presentation will help provide facts that begin to build a picture describing the medicine supply chain. It will further highlight its complexities and, in this context, identify important next steps that will shape the future of the quality medicine supply chain.

Speaker: Ronald Piervincenzi '93, Ph.D., CEO of United States Pharmacopeia. Ron is also a member of the DeMatteis SEAS Dean's Advisory Board.
