A Virtual Workshop for De-Stressing and Creative Thinking

An offering from the Zarb School for the Entire Hofstra Community 

These sessions emphasize ancient wisdom on deep breathing and meditation practice, designed to bring balance to the mind and body, and encourage calm, resilience and creativity. For students, staff and faculty- no previous experience necessary, week by week commitment.  

There is no cost but please register beforehand. 

The current facilitator is Charles Smith coauthor with Felicia Norton of the meditation book  An Emerald Earth, Cultivating a Natural Spirituality who has been teaching meditation and mindfulness for many years.  

Tuesdays, 5:00 to 5:45 PM, beginning Aug 2 and continuing through the Fall of 2020.

Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
