A Long Walk to the Moon: Long Island Space Dream

A screening of a documentary about the memories, challenges and satisfactions of former Grumman engineers who worked on the historical construction of the Lunar Modules, the spaceships that landed on the moon and returned the astronauts safely during the Apollo program.  The screening will be followed by a Q&A portion, led by the film’s director, Hofstra film student Connie Tais, along with Dr. J.B. Bennington, Chair and Professor of Geology, Environment, and Sustainability, and Rodney F. Hill, Associate Professor of Radio, Television, Film.
