What Is Public Relations? A Primer on One of the World's Oldest Professions

What is public relations and how does it work? We'll examine how PR people use effective communication skills -- and the media -- to reach audiences with informative and (hopefully) positive messages. We'll look at the profession's colorful history, and discuss how PR techniques are used to create, maintain and change people's attitudes and opinions.
