Zoom Event: Responses to Coronavirus: Legal, Ethical, Clinical and Public Health Perspectives on Pandemic Disease
Hofstra Law's Gitenstein Institute for Health Law and Policy and the Hofstra Bioethics Center present Responses to Coronavirus: Legal, Ethical, Clinical and Public Health Perspectives on Pandemic Disease. This timely panel discussion will focus on interdisciplinary responses to pandemic disease such as the coronavirus, with legal, ethical, clinical and public health perspectives with experts from across Hofstra University. Among the issues to be addressed are the challenges of balancing public health with civil liberties, bias and xenophobia in policy and public responses, dealing with uncertainty in planning and decision-making, and others.
