Murphy will speak about how he found the company and transitioned it from an investment firm to a multi-state operator of award-winning consumer cannabis brands. The discussion will be moderated by Zarb Advisory Board member and Acreage Holdings Lead Director, Douglas Maine, who is Senior Advisor to Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., a 200-year-old Wall Street investment bank and securities firm.

About Kevin Murphy

Prior to his role at Acreage Holdings, Mr. Murphy was most recently a Founding Member and Managing Partner of Tandem Global Partners, a boutique investment firm focused on the emerging markets. Previously Mr. Murphy was Managing Partner at Stanfield Capital Partners, where he served as a member of the Operating and Management team that oversaw all aspects of Stanfield’s business, including risk management, sales and distribution, client services, legal, compliance and operations. Before joining Stanfield, Mr. Murphy was Partner and Director of Marketing for Gleacher NatWest, Senior Vice President of Sales for Schroders, Vice President for Lazard Freres, and Vice President for Cantor Fitzgerald.

Douglas Maine is Senior Advisor to Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, a 200 year old Wall Street investment bank and securities firm. He is Lead Director of Acreage Holdings, and a member of the Audit Committee and Nominating & Governance Committee for Albemarle, Inc. (NYSE:ALB) a specialty chemicals and advanced materials company. He was recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors as a “NACD 100 Honoree” and one of the most influential leaders in corporate governance. Maine is also a director and chairman of two private companies: Olympusat (Cable Content and Distribution) and R4 Technologies (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence), and is a director for BBH-Capital Partners portfolio company Noble Systems (Contact Center Software).
