2020 Donald J. Sutherland Lecture: The Elusive Quest for Shared Prosperity

The 2020 Donald J. Sutherland Lecture will be given by N. Gregory Mankiw. Why, despite a booming stock market and record-low unemployment, are many people dissatisfied with the performance of the U.S. economy? What can we do to improve it? Gregory Mankiw, a professor of economics of Harvard University, will discuss the many difficult tradeoffs policymakers face as they search for answers to these questions.

Speaker: N. Gregory Mankiw, M. Beren Professor of Economics, Harvard University

The Donald J. Sutherland Lecture is named for the former Hofstra trustee who endowed the annual event.
