Hofstra Votes presents Trailblazers PAC's Front Porch Politics Workshop

Democracy isn’t a spectator sport. Get engaged, volunteer for a cause, run for office. Hofstra University and Trailblazers PAC are co-hosting a day-long workshop to teach you the nuts-and-bolts of Front Porch Politics. Trailblazers PAC’s Front Porch Politics workshop provides participants with the skills to run or support a campaign for public office or to advocate for a cause. The workshop includes hands-on activities to practice important skills to support a campaign, and participants will leave with concrete tools and a plan to take action.

Key organizers are Trailblazers Founder and President Leslie Danks Burke and Trailblazers PAC Development Director Lindsey Johnson, a 2009 Hofstra political science graduate.
