The Issues in Judaism Lecture Series presents Religion Goes to the Movies this fall. Hofstra Hillel presents
One Night Only Film Screening and Discussion: Ushpizin. The film starring Shuli Rand, Michal Bat-Sheva Rand, and Shaul Mizrahi tests an Orthodox Jewish couple’s faith after they prayed for a child during the religious holiday of Sukkot.

 

Funding for these programs has been provided, in part, by the Dorothy and Elmer Kirsch Endowment for the Hofstra Cultural Center. In collaboration with the Jewish Studies Program in the Department of Religion.
