Zucker School of Medicine: Northwell Health Third Annual Human Trafficking Symposium

On Tuesday, January 7, The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell will be hosting the Third Annual Northwell Health Human Trafficking Symposium. The purpose of this symposium is to  help to better equip physicians, nurses, social workers, residents and medical students to identify victims and those at risk for human trafficking. These are individuals who are marginalized in society and, through this symposium, caregivers will be better equipped to not only identify, but know how to treat and refer patients to connect them to community resources.
