Zucker School of Medicine presents The Power of Art and Humor

Join us for The Power of Art and Humor as a Tool to Improve Communication and Prevent Burnout in Health Professionals: A Comedy in Medicine Workshop/A Humanities in Medicine Program Working with people who are facing health issues places stress on health professionals and is a frequent cause of burnout. Join Elyse Miller for an interactive workshop that will teach us to use art and humor for self-care and to help prevent burnout, while building self-confdence, self-esteem, and increasing selfexpression skills.

Elyse A. Miller, MA, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS, BCPC, CLL-E, is an assistant adjunct professor at Hofstra University, in the Creative Arts Therapy program. Ms. Miller is also a Board Certifed Professional Counselor (BCPC). She is a Certifed Laughter Leader-Expert with The World Laughter Tour, Inc. and uses humor and laughter in her art therapy practice and teaching.
