Fall Dance Concert

The Hofstra Department of Drama and Dance presents the Fall Dance ConcertOne Breath, featuring an original music score by Kevin Keller and costumes by Hofstra’s own Meredith Van Scoy, is just one work in an eclectic program of choreography by guest artists and Hofstra faculty members. One Breath, a work by Adjunct Professor Amy Marshall, is based on the idea of coming together as the human race. To bring the dance to Hofstra’s stage for the Fall 2019 Dance Concert, she is collaborating with two alumni: Julia Neto ’15 and Kevin William ’16, now members of her prestigious, Manhattan-based Amy Marshall Dance Company.  One Breath, funded by a grant from the Queens Council for the Arts, has been performed previously at venues throughout Queens, Long Island University’s Kumble Theater, East Hampton’s Guild Hall, and the Ailey Citigroup Theater in Manhattan.
