70th Annual Hofstra Shakespeare Festival: What Fools! and Special Performance with The Collegium Musicum

The Hofstra Department of Drama and Dance presents What Fools! This one-hour adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare is adapted by Maureen McFeely and directed by Richie Pepio. Lovers, fairies, and fools, oh my! The Shakespeare Festival Touring Company proves that "the course of true love never did run smooth" in this excellent one-hour adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy, suitable for young audiences. This showing includes a Special Performance with The Collegium Musicum with Christopher Morrongiellodirector.  The Festival Musicale: Dive Thoughts, Down to My Soul,  6th- and 17th-Century Songs about Thoughts, featuring works by Pierre Sandrin, John Dowland, Thomas Campion, Francis Pilkington, William Corkine, & Claudio Monterverdi.

Thursday, March 7, at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Friday, March 8, at 11 a.m.
Saturday, March 9, at 2 p.m. - Special Performance with The Collegium Musicum

Location: Toni and Martin Sosnoff Theater, John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus


Tickets: $10, $8 senior citizen; Two free tickets with current faculty/staff/student HofstraCard.
