Hofstra-Digital Remedy Venture Challenge Applications Due
Visit www.hofstra.edu/digitalremedy to apply to Hofstra University's entrepreneurship competition series with $75,000 in total cash and in-kind prizes by February 15, 2019. The simple google form application asks information including your team name and a brief description of your business idea/startup company.
Background:
The #HofDigitalRemedyChallenge is an annual entrepreneurship competition for Hofstra students administered by the Hofstra University Center for Entrepreneurship with total prizes valued at $75,000, made possible through the donation of a Hofstra Board Trustee and CEO of Digital Remedy, Mike Seiman. The competition (formerly the Hofstra-CPXi Venture Tech Challenge), is in its seventh year at Hofstra University.
The competition provides students with mentorship through a one-day Bootcamp, pitch preparation with the Center's Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, a Semi-Final Round, and a Final Round. The goal of the venture challenge is to inspire students to launch their own startup businesses by leading them through the business model canvas, customer discovery process, and teaching them effective presentation skills.
Student from all schools, majors, undergraduate, and graduate students are welcome to apply.
