Italian-American Experience Lecture Series: The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire and Monument

The fall 2018 Italian-American Experience Lecture Series will explore Italian-American Women, Politics, and Recent Immigration. The first lecture in the series will be The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire and Monument given by Dr. Mary Anne Trasciatti, President, The Triangle Factory Fire Coalition Inc.

Speaker: Dr. Mary Anne Trasciatti, Associate Professor, Department of Writing Studies and Rhetoric at Hofstra University; Director, Superstorm Sandy Oral History Project in Long Beach, NY; and President, The Triangle Factory Fire Coalition Inc.

 

The Italian-American Experience Lecture Series is presented by the Hofstra Cultural Center and supported, in part, by the Association of Italian American Educators.
