The William H. Lawrence Honors Recital

The Hofstra Music Department presents The William H. Lawrence Honors Recital, a concert of exciting music for various combinations of instruments performed by Triinu Barclay (flute), Samuel Falotico (piano), Alyssa Loftus (voice), and Elizabeth Perlas (piano) and directed by Tammy Hensrud.

William H. Lawrence was an internationally acclaimed African-American pianist and composer. Mr. Lawrence provided financial support for the Music Department through a bequest in his will. His gift, which included two pianos, helped support renovations in the John Cranford Adams Playhouse and the establishment of an endowed scholarship in his name to support students majoring in the field of music.
