Hofstra Jazz Ensemble: The Annual Peter B. Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund Concert

The Hofstra Music Department presents Hofstra Jazz Ensemble performing “Jazz: Roots and Branches” under the direction of Professor of Music David Lalama. From the Ragtime to today, Jazz performances tend to include the past, present and future all at the same time.  This concert will explore the stylistic codes that make this uniquely American Musical Art form so diverse and distinct.

Location: The Helene Fortunoff Theater, Monroe Lecture Center

Tickets: $10 general admission; $8 senior citizen (over 65); Two free tickets with current HofstraCard. 

Tickets for the Jazz Concert may be purchased through the Hofstra Box Office at 516-463-6644, online or at the door. (Please note, free tickets for Hofstra community members cannot be reserved online. They may be picked up at the Box Office.) 

Tickets on sale beginning August 30.

Fall 2018 performances are on sale xxx. Unless a performance is sold out, tickets are also available for purchase at the door (by cash or check only) beginning at least 60 minutes before showtime.
