Medicine in Theater Event: Prescription Drug Abuse: Confronting the Opioid Crisis
Join us for a dramatic read of Act III of Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey into Night, performed by medical students and physician members of the Osler Society’s Medicine in Theater Group, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Samuel Packer. Panelists include physicians, lawyers, Hofstra Law students, Zucker School of Medicine students. Participate in a discussion of the ethical, legal and practical issues raised by the Opioid Crisis for the medical community.
