International Slow Art Day

Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: to help people discover the joy of looking at and loving art. Museums throughout the world participate in this popular event, where the more you look, the more you see! We invite you to join Museum educators for a slow “look” at five works on view and then gather for a lively discussion about the works.

 

Date:  Saturday, April 14, 2018

Time: noon-2 p.m.

Location: Emily Lowe Gallery, behind Emily Lowe Hall, South Campus

Fee: Admission is free. 

Limited to 15 participants. A light lunch will be provided. 

Advance registration is required for all programs.

PARKING NOTICE

Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
