The Soap Myth -- A Staged Reading with Ed Asner and Kate Burton

Emmy Award winner Ed Asner (Mary Tyler Moore) and Emmy and Tony nominee Kate Burton (Present Laughter, Scandal) will headline a two-week East Coast tour of Jeff Cohen’s The Soap Myth. Asner and Burton will take on the roles of Holocaust survivors Milton Saltzman and Brenda Goodsen, respectively. The play, set over 50 years after World War II, explores the nature of survival and who has the right to write history--between those who live it, those who study it, and those who distort it. The play serves as a tribute to International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Presented by Hofstra Hillel: The Center for Jewish Life on Campus.
