Transfer Day -- CANCELLED University Closed

Due to the winter storm warning, Hofstra University will be closed on Thursday, January 4, 2018. All administrative offices will be closed and classes are cancelled. The Child Care Institute and Axinn Library will be closed. For students on campus, food services will be available at Dutch Treats and the Student Center Cafeteria during the posted January session hours of operation.

For those in January session Thursday classes: it is up to the instructor to arrange make up hours using on-line assignments, blackboard meetings, an agreed upon alternate meeting time, or some other strategy.

Attend Hofstra University's Transfer Day!

Apply and receive an admission decision and credit evaluation, meet with an academic advisor and register for the spring 2018 semester. 

In order to complete your enrollment, you will need to submit a Transfer Application available at and transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. If you wish to expedite your Transfer Day visit, we suggest that you submit these items at least one business day prior to your Transfer Day program.

Submit Your Hofstra Event

Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
