U'Wa Indigenous Group Leadership from Northern Colombia presentation

Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program (LACS) and African Studies Program present a presentation by the U’Wa Indigenous Group Leadership from Northern Colombia. The U’Wa are an indigenous people living on a homeland across the border between northern Colombia and Venezuela. They recently gained visibility over their struggle against international corporations to prevent oil drilling in their territory.
