Latinx Heritage Month Celebration Reception: Flor De Toloache

Join Intercultural Engagement and Inclusion (IEI) for receptions celebrating Hofstra’s Cultural Heritage Months. Latinx Heritage Month Celebration Reception will feature Flor De Toloache the all-women, feminist, Grammy-nominated Mariachi band. Join Intercultural Engagement & Inclusion as we listen to the music and wisdom of this fabulous cultural phenomenon. The program will include performances by Flor De Toloache, followed by a facilitated dialogue and an open question and answer session. Come celebrate Latinx Heritage Month and learn about this NYC based group doing important work around the topics of race, ethnicity and gender. Open to the community. Free lunch will be provided.

Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
