American Heart Association's Hands-Only CPR Mobile Tour

The Hofstra community is invited to learn the lifesaving skill of CPR. Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death, and each year, over 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the United States.  When a teen or adult experiences a cardiac arrest, survival depends on immediately receiving CPR from someone nearby.  To that end, the Office of Human Resources is excited to bring the Hands-Only CPR Mobile Tour to Hofstra University employees and students.  Training sessions are FREE and will be facilitated by the American Heart Association and supported by the Empire BlueCross BlueShield Foundation.
