Undergraduate Executive Speaker Series featuring Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL): How to Achieve Your Corporate Ambitions

Join three tenured Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) professionals for a deeper look at the world of business today. These experts will be sharing their stories of varied career paths, industry trends, innovation and challenges, as well as the importance of corporate social responsibility.


Jeff Szczapa is Senior Vice President at JLL. He’s previously held positions as a VP and International Transaction Manager for BNY Mellon, overseeing the company's international CRE portfolio in more than 34 countries. Later moving to the investment side of the industry, Jeff has worked on various investment and development projects on Long Island.

In 2006, Jeff became part of the U.S. management team of an Israeli public company, which focused on real estate investment opportunities in the U.S. He was responsible for asset management, due diligence on investments, negotiations of agreements and financing. In 2010, he joined Kaplan Inc. as Director, Real Estate, where he managed lease transactions for the company’s portfolio on the East Coast.

A graduate of New York University with a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate, Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Hofstra University in 1998.


Stan Bernard is a Senior Information Technology Professional with over 19 years of experience delivering client-facing global technology account management and technical utilization support for companies of various industries. Stan is regarded as a Subject Matter Expert in IT leadership and global account management. He currently leads the Northeast Region Team at JLL, partnering with other regional leaders responsible for collectively establishing best practices and driving initiatives across our respective regions.

Through his career, he has placed emphasis on development by becoming ITIL Foundation certified, and as of recently completed Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) courses. Stan has also completed a Columbia Technology Leadership Institute course sponsored by the CIO/CISO Leadership Board and the Columbia Business School.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Technology Management from the George Mason University School of Management and Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Management from Hofstra University. 


Paige Schiavone is Data Center Lead for JLL’s Capital One Account. A tenured management professional, Paige has over 12 years of experience in Corporate Real Estate strategy, project execution, and cross-functional team leadership. Over the past decade, Paige has been responsible for strategic management within Bank of America and Capital One Bank focusing on reaching mission critical operational objectives. 

During her career, Paige has constantly placed importance on professional and personal development, within herself but also, her teams. Through her tenure with JLL she has been a Charter member of the Women’s Business Network and currently serves as the Executive Sponsor of the Capital One Account’s Diversity and Inclusion team.

Paige is a certified Project Management Professional and holds a B.A. in Women’s Studies, concentrating in Business, from the University of Virginia.
