Attaining Cultural Competency in Transgender Healthcare

Join Dr. David Rosenthal, medical director of the Center for Transgender Care, for a discussion and Q&A focusing on the medical challenges that face the LGBTQ+ community, and learn how physicians and other health care providers can provide meaningful and effective health care and a safe environment for LGBTQ+ patients. There is a Guided Tour of Art Exhibit, Converging Voices: Gender and Identity, at the Emily Lowe Gallery at Hofstra University before the lecture.
