Hofstra Chorale and Chamber Choir

Join the Hofstra Chorale and Chamber choir as they present "Miserere nobis,” a program featuring texts inspired by the human tendency to need to ask for forgiveness. The concert explores a wide gamut of choral traditions, from the Renaissance to the 21st century, and features Allegri’s magnificent Miserere, and Tormis’ terrifying Raua Needmine (A Curse Upon Iron) with male soloists and shaman drum. Adjunct Professor of Music Matthew Koraus joins us on the organ.
