What Do the First 100 Days Teach About the Trump Presidency?

Former Democratic National Committee Chair Howard B. Dean, Republican strategist Edward J. Rollins and Newsday political reporter Laura Figueroa will examine the first 100 days of the Trump presidency on Thursday, April 27 during a panel discussion sponsored by the Peter S. Kalikow Center for the Study of the American Presidency.

The conversation, moderated by Kalikow Center Director and Political Science Professor Meena Bose, will be held from 9:30 - 11 a.m. in the Student Center Theater, North Campus. Admission is free and open to the public, but advance registration is recommended.

Dean and Rollins have been senior fellows at the Kalikow Center since 2009. Dean, a physician, is a former six-term governor of Vermont who ran for president in 2004.  Rollins has had major managerial roles in 10 presidential campaigns, and has served in the administrations of four presidents. Figueroa is a national political reporter at Newsday who covered the 2016 presidential campaign.
