Hofstra Women's Lacrosse vs. William & Mary

Coming off an impressive win over a ranked Towson squad on Sunday, the Hofstra Women's Lacrosse team will look to continue its strong play this week when it takes on a pair of Colonial Athletic Association foes.
Hofstra will host William & Mary on Friday at 7 p.m. before closing the weekend with a road contest at Elon on Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m.

Hofstra (7-6, 1-3 CAA) earned its seventh win of the season with a stunning second half rally on Sunday as it defeated Towson, 17-15, after trailing 11-7 at halftime. The victory was the program's highest ranked win since a 9-8 win over #8 Towson on May 6, 2010. In addition it is the most goals the Pride has scored against the Tigers since an 18-10 win on April 6, 2001.

William & Mary enters the week with a 3-12 overall record and a 0-4 conference mark. They most recently dropped a 12-8 decision to Drexel on Sunday. Hofstra is 10-6 all-time against the Tribe. The Pride has won three straight against William & Mary, including a 10-9 overtime decision in Williamsburg last year.
