2020 Women in Entrepreneurship Virtual Panel Discussion
Hofstra University and the Center for Entrepreneurship are hosting a 2020 Women in Entrepreneurship virtual panel discussion on Friday, October 30 from 11:15 a.m. -12:40 p.m., which is part of Global Women in Entrepreneurship Week. This event is presented by the Frank G. Zarb School of Business and Center for Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Janet A. Lenaghan
Dean, Frank G. Zarb School of Business
Dr. Lenaghan is the recipient of the 2016 and 2003 Teacher of the Year Award at Hofstra University. She is the first woman Dean of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business. She has taught such courses as human resource management, compensation and performance, managing employee benefits, and recruitment and selection. Her primary research interests are in the area of human resource management, specifically work-family conflict and employee benefits.

Barbara Roberts
Barbara B. Roberts is Entrepreneur in Residence at both Columbia Business School and Hofstra University. She is also former NY Chair of Tiger 21 and a speaker and writer about all stages of entrepreneurship, innovation, family businesses and the economic progress of women. An economist by training, previously Ms. Roberts held senior positions on Wall Street and was the first woman to serve on Dean Witter’s board of directors. As president and CEO at the stock photography company, FPG International, now part of Getty Images and the museum audio tour company, Acoustiguide, she successfully built and sold both companies.
Angela Gibbs
Founder, CÖSBEAU (kaz-boh) INK located in Long Beach NY. Angela received her BBA in Management from Hofstra University ’00 before starting a career within the beauty and investment banking industries. After fifteen years of working within the corporate arena, Angela decided to become an entrepreneur, using her artistic gifts in eyelash extensions, tattoo artistry, and scar camouflage to enhance the outward appearance of women.
Lynn Luong
Lynn is the founder of The 2.0 Collective and an ecosystem builder in New York and Charlotte who leans into creative solutions to further local innovation. As a startup strategist with a tech background, she helps implement lean teams and agile methodologies into antiquated infrastructures. In 2019, she moved to Charlotte to expand The 2.0 Collective to the world's next-largest fintech hub. There, she also became the Director of Charlotte Innovation Week, garnering national attention, as well as the Director of Seed the South, an angel investor conference and pitch competition.
Elnaz Sarabchian
Founder, MedAux. Elnaz is a Doctor of Education student in Teaching, Learning, and Technology Department at Hofstra University. For over 10 years, Elnaz had been a pioneer in education innovation. As an entrepreneur, CEO, board member, consultant, mentor, and educator, she has worked to advance innovation in the field.
