17th Annual HNET (The Hofstra Network of Elementary Teachers) Conference
The annual HNET Conference is open to all current and prospective elementary teachers and administrators. Workshops explore elementary and early childhood literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as how a prospective teacher can secure their first teaching job. Teachers in attendance for the full conference receive a staff development letter for submission to their districts.
The keynote address will be given by Hofstra alumna Lauren Brown (Class of 2004), who will speak on teaching women's rights in the year of the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage.
