Men's Basketball vs. James Madison

The Hofstra men's basketball team will honor its incredible senior class and play its regular season finale on Saturday when it hosts James Madison. It will also be a WHITE OUT! The first 500 fans will receive a FREE white t-shirt at the game, so be sure to wear white!

Prior to the game, at 3:45 p.m., Hofstra will hold its senior day ceremony where it will honor its three seniors (Desure BuieConnor Klementowicz, and Eli Pemberton) before their final home game. Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 4 p.m.

The Pride has already clinched at least a share of the regular season title and a win tomorrow or a William & Mary loss tomorrow will give Hofstra sole possession of the regular season title. Hofstra is looking to become only the sixth team in Colonial Athletic Association history (since 1982-83) to win back-to-back regular season titles (without sharing either title). They would be the first since Virginia Commonwealth did it three times from 2006-07 to 2008-09.

Hofstra is 22-8 overall and 13-4 in CAA play. The Pride dropped a 76-65 decision to Towson on Thursday despite 21 points and six three-pointers from Junior Tareq Coburn and 20 points and seven rebounds from sophomore Isaac Kante

James Madison is 9-19 and 2-15 in the league. The Dukes dropped a 77-75 contest at Northeastern on Thursday. Matt Lewis led James Madison with 17 points and five assists.

Saturday's game marks the 35th in the series between Hofstra and James Madison with the Pride leading the series, 21-13. In total, Hofstra has won six of the last seven meetings between the schools, including an 82-76 victory in Harrisonburg back on December 28. Pemberton posted a game-high 25 points to lead the Pride in that contest.
