Jeffrey Matthews is the George F. Jewett Distinguished Professor in the School of Business and Leadership at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He has published dozens of articles and three books, including The Art of Command: Military Leadership from George Washington to Colin Powell, which remains required reading at the U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Most recently, he completed a biography of General Colin Powell, Colin Powell: Imperfect Patriot. He is a founding partner and business director of the Camouflaj game studio, headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
