Adopt a Dream Club Meeting

Adopt a Dream gives back to children who are underprivileged in material objects as well as in their well-being. Through fundraising, our mission is to provide children, who are financially disadvantaged and either chronically or terminally ill or disabled, with their one dream come true.

In order to qualify as a dream recipient, candidates must have a cognitive or physical disability or a chronic disease or illness. The recipient’s family must be unable to provide luxuries that would make the child more comfortable or happier. In order to qualify as a dream recipient, the child must be under 18 years of age and live within 50 miles of Hofstra University. If a candidate lives outside of the 50-mile radius but has family within 50 miles, then they may be eligible.

PARKING NOTICE

Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
