Great Writers, Great Readers presents Author Anne Fadiman Comments

Anne Fadiman is an author, essayist, editor and teacher. Her first book, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Downwon a National Book Critics’ Circle Award for its sensitive, incisive treatment of the cross-cultural conflicts between a Hmong family and the American medical system. Her most recent essay collection is At Large and At Small: Familiar EssaysAs Yale University’s Francis Writer in Residence, Ms. Fadiman teaches nonfiction writing and mentors students considering careers in writing or editing.
