Annual CAT Conference: Inspirations in Creative Arts Therapy Practice Comments

Hofstra University School of Health Sciences and Human Services invites you at attend the CAT Conference, Inspirations in Creative Arts Therapy Practice, on Tues., March 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.  As the need for mental health services continues to grow and change, art therapists have responded in various ingenious and inspirational ways.  Hear from professionals who have broadened their scope of practice, established programs and practices where none existed before, and challenged the status quo. This conference is intended to highlight the various dimensions of arts therapy application and insight into the growth of the field.  Workshops will highlight successful programs in the region.* 
 
Keynote speaker, Judith Rubin, PhD, ATR-BC, HLM, will reflect on 50 years of inspiration in, through, and about art therapy.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
