P.R.I.D.E. Week: “P” Personal and Social Responsibility Comments

Spread a Little Sunshine! Show your Personal and Social Responsibility! You can simultaneously express your creativity and brighten someone’s day! Please join in a flower pot decorating and card writing campaign for the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility, which is located in Uniondale. Students can stop by our table in the Student Center Atrium and decorate flower pots, create handmade cards or fill out Hofstra postcards with cheery messages to bring a smile to a nursing home resident’s face.   This local facility is always grateful to receive gifts, cards and messages of this nature for their residents, who truly enjoy receiving them. For those who are able to and interested in doing so, information will be available about volunteering at Holly Patterson, as well as other local volunteer opportunities.
