Graduate Studies Open House Comments

At this event, you will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the School of Education; School of Health Sciences and Human Services; School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Frank G. Zarb School of Business; Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; Lawrence Herbert School of Communication; and the Office of Graduate Admissions.  Have your program-specific questions answered, learn about the application and financial aid process, and have your application fee waived if you start an application within 48 hours of the open house.

If you’re not ready to make the jump into a master’s- or doctoral-level program but you want to get started, you will have the chance to enroll on-site as a non-matriculated student.  As a non-matriculated student, you may complete up to 12 credits before enrolling in a degree program.  Please note that non-matriculated status is not available to international, Zarb School of Business, psychology, or counseling students.


Refreshments will be served.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
