Pride and Purpose Debate: Should the U.S. Enact Stronger Regulations Against Genetically Modified Crops? Comments

The Hofstra University Cultural Center and the Office of University Relations in collaboration with the Department of Rhetoric present the first Pride and Purpose Debate. Four guest panelists will debate the topic: Should the U.S. Enact Stronger Regulations Against Genetically Modified Crops? This debate will be moderated by Phillip Dalton, PhD, Chair and Associate Professor for the Department of Rhetoric at Hofstra University.

Greg Dolin, Associate Professor of law at the University of Baltimore, co-director of the Center for Medicine and Law at the University of Baltimore
Kevin Folta, Associate Professor in Horticultural Sciences at the University of Florida, Interim Chair of the Department of Horticultural Sciences
Michael Hasen, Chief Staff Scientist, Consumers Union
Bhavani Jaroff, Chef, Educator, Radio Host, and Food Activist
